Project summary
A multidisciplinary work developed through music for videos, installations and exhibitions, now gathered as a record and transformed again in live performance.
The title comes from the old walnut tree in Lo’s garden. Friends and artists gathered there, ate, celebrated, meditated and slept nearby. Over time, the tree became a point of departure for music, images, words and individual artistic responses.
Lo Meulen, born Lode Vandermeulen in Bree, is a Belgian musician, composer and audiovisual artist. Since the early 1980s he has moved between bands, composition, moving image, installation and performance. He was bassist and part of the composing core of Aroma di Amore and collaborates with writer and performer Elvis Peeters as PeetersMeulen.
